Stanley McCall, Sr. is a lifelong resident of Huntsville, Alabama. He graduated from Oakwood University with a degree in psychology. He obtained a master’s degree in education via the Teacher Corps Program while teaching in the Huntsville public school system. He left teaching to become an urban planner and developed city programs for education, housing, recreation, crime prevention, and economic development. He then went on to obtain a master’s degree in Personnel Management.
Mr. McCall worked for NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center, where he served in the procurement department as a Procurement Analyst, Contract Specialist, Chief of Small Purchases, MIS Systems Administrator, Supervisory Contracting Officer and Director of the Small Business Office. While working, he obtained an MBA in finance from Alabama A&M University. His accomplishments include being the department’s first minority supervisor, first minority Contracting Officer, and numerous years of recognition for NASA’s Small Business Office of the Year for meeting all of its goals.
After retiring from NASA, Mr. McCall co-founded and assumed the position of CEO at Management Enterprise Development and Services, Inc. (MEDS). While leading the company, he developed a system that values integrity, competency, and persistence. In every challenge, the company strives to find a way to “leave every situation better than they find.”
